One exhibition travels through European countries with special educational program, another edition - exposed in Kaunas;Present: REWIND PERONAL STORY (competition and invited artists / narrative aspect). Textile installations which present (1) personal experience or (2) the destiny of his/her family, relatives and nation, (3) an overheard / read / seen story that influenced artistic decisions, (4) an elaborately and suggestively invented story;
Future: REWIND INTO THE FUTURE (competition and invited artists / experimental aspect). Smart and high-tech textile exhibition, workshops and performing arts - theater shows;
PLAY - contemporary dance and performance program, which consist of international workshops, theater shows, interrelated with REWIND program. Production will be realized through collaboration among visual artists, performers, smart-textile designers, international Fluxus network. Workshops of dance troupes collaborating with visual artists will be lead in Lithuania, Denmark, Portugal, Germany, etc. Prepared shows also will be presented internationally.
FORWARD - a program where meet research, education and science: (i)16th ETN conference (registration required www.etn-net.org), lead by experimental workshops in smart textile and high-tech field, and (ii) International students exhibition, dedicated to 70th anniversary of professional textile teaching in Lithuania.
