HE DISAPPEARS IN A CLOUD OF BLACK INK. 2006-2011. Installation of tapestries.
I have this memory of myself paralyzed, in a dress I loved with an embroidered rose on the chest. My eyes are fixed on a couple my parents knew. This couple is in a fight, screaming at each other. She is backing. He is leaning almost over her. I know he is dangerous, because I`ve seen him enjoy harassing my brother. Their smallest daughter is hiding her face. The rest of the kids are playing silently around the corner. I and my parents are the only ones actually looking at them fighting. I wish I hadn’t.
